We follow the Code of Ethics of the National Guild of Hypnotists.

  1. The physical and mental well-being of each client shall always be the prime consideration.
     
  2. The rights and desires of the client shall always be respected.
     
  3. Members shall avoid any conduct which could be construed as moral impropriety or sexual misconduct with a client.
     
  4. Members shall use hypnosis strictly within the limits of their training and competence.
     
  5. Members shall be honest and ethical in their advertising and business dealings.
     
  6. Hypnosis shall be employed in accordance with established laws and regulations.
     
  7. Members shall be aware of their limitations and always avoid infringement on other professionals.
     
  8. Professional behavior and respect shall be extended to all fellow hypnotists.
     

Covid-19 Safety Protocol
We follow the CDC/NIH guidelines for keeping you safe, and these guidelines may change from time to time. At present, we will check your temperature upon arrival, ask several questions, and may require you to wear a mask depending upon local rate of infection. We prefer you to be fully vaccinated. The room is disinfected between clients.


Scope of Services

We are not physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, or social workers, and we do not offer psychotherapy or medical advice. If you think you need these services, we would be happy to refer you to the appropriate professionals.


Confidentiality

We will not release any information to anyone without written authorization from you, except as provided for by law. You have a right to see your file.


Change of Appointment

Please give us 48 hours notice if you need to change your appointment.


Cancellation Policy

We understand that life has a way of interrupting schedules. Should you need to reschedule an appointment, please give us as much notice as possible so that we may serve someone on the waiting list.


Professionalism

No sexual gestures will be tolerated, the appointment will be immediately terminated and 100% of the fee will be collected.


Referral From Your Physician

Sheehan & Early Hypnosis Center will not see someone under the care of a physician or mental professional without a signed and dated letter of permission specifying the permitted area to be addressed. Sheehan & Early will provide a referral / release form for your care provider if requested. The form must be dated and signed by the referring entity.
